You acknowledge that by registering for the Event, you pledge to follow our Fundraising Guidelines.
All fundraising conducted for this Event comes under The Kids’ Cancer Project’s authority to fundraise in the respective State or Territory in Australia.
You agree to be bound by the relevant state and national fundraising legislation.
In most cases, The Kids’ Cancer Project can refund a donation made in error. If you wish to request a refund, please contact The Kids’ Cancer Project via dane@tkcp.org.au
Any content you post to your fundraising page (e.g. photos or videos, text) is your responsibility, and you must have the necessary rights to post that content (including the consent of others who feature in the content). You must ensure content does not violate or infringe upon the rights of any third party (including, any rights of intellectual property, copyright, trademark, publicity or privacy). The Kids’ Cancer Project retains the right to delete any content posted.
The Kids’ Cancer Project respects and is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information it collects.
The Kids’ Cancer Project will collect your personal information and any other information you may volunteer so that we can: administer and conduct the Event; and keep you informed about The Kids’ Cancer Project, its fundraising activities and the important work you are supporting.
The Kids’ Cancer Project may use your image, name and challenge result in any promotion relating to this Event, including in the Leaderboards and/or on the Event website.
The Charity collects personal information (“PI“) in order to conduct the Event and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers and prize suppliers. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. The Charity will also use and handle PI as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at https://www.thekidscancerproject.org.au/privacy-policy.
The Kids’ Cancer Project is an independent national charity supporting childhood cancer research. Since 1993, thanks to strong community support, the charity has contributed tens of millions of dollars to scientific research projects to help children with many types of cancer.
